<p><br /> I appreciate the rating of 4 stars, although on my arrival back at the pub I was told that we just missed out on 5 due to several minor things.  The toilet door was off the hinges although this had only happened over the previous few days and was due to be fixed which it now is.  I agree that the cellar could do with painting although I feel that this is slight wear and tear and in terms of hygiene, this is kept to a good standard.  Everything in there is air tight, pumps are cleaned regularly and the cellar itself is washed down and cleaned out regular.  I do take the hygiene and cleanliness of the pub very seriously which maintains a good reputation with customers.  The staff have a strict rota which includes disinfecting every shelf behind the bar every week.  Although there is slight wear and tear in places every inch of the pub is cleaned and maintained thoroughly.  Since the inspection I have done a thorough check to ensure that the maintainance is of a high standard. </p><br />
